why is no one making 24 and 29 inch 1440p displays compact size, crisp image and fairly easy to achieve a high framerate

This would have been a bad ass monitor years ago.

And it will have a silly price tag too.

This monitor fails on so many levels. Displayport 1.2 (FAIL), HDMI 2.0 (FAIL), 2560x1080 (FAIL), No HDR (FAIL). 😕

while i agree i will say the Displayport 1.2 (FAIL), HDMI 2.0 (FAIL) are not really fails because of the 3rd fail 2560x1080 (FAIL) 2560x1080 does not need faster interface . It will be a major fail if the price is over 400 euros 300-400 can be good for the money .

Explain how the 2560x1080 is a fail on a 29 inch 21:9? Cause no way in damn hell is anyone pushing over 144fps in most modern titles in 3440x1440 219.

The 29 inch part is the fail, 34 inches at 21:9 is barely large enough for that aspect ratio, let alone 29 inches. I’ve owned both 34 and 38 inch in 21:9 and 38 inch is a much better experience. Why make a 29 inch ultra-wide I have no idea, really weird.

this would have been the monitor of the century 10 years ago LOL what in the world are they thinking

Let's hope the capacitors are soldered in correctly.

38 inch isnt a 21:9 though. 3840x1600. 3440x1440 isnt really 21:9 either. As someone who has had single, and triple 25 inch 21:9, 29 inch 21:9, 35 inch 21:9, 29 inch eyefinity setup with 2x 23 inch side monitors, and 48 inch 32:9, I can easily tell you there is nothing wrong with a 29 inch ultrawide, let alone a 34. I can not but help to laugh at clowns like you that think the vertical space of a 38 matters more in gaming. I bet you were one of those OMG 16:10>16:9 for gaming. Claiming vertical space over FOV in widescreen.
