Hey just a heads up, I think this part of the article may be for another one of the New Asus Z270 boards: You are not going to find hugely expensive Creative labs audio chips or an Intel Thunderbolt controller on this motherboard. No, everything seems and feels normalized, in line with good looks and features you need. By doing so, ASUS is offering this motherboard at a pretty competitive price level, making your upgrade needs more budget friendly in that 239 Euro/USD range. With PCIe Gen 3.0, compatible processors and platforms can feature 16 PCIe 3.0 lanes to be used for graphics and/or other add-in PCIe cards. All desktop chipsets have a single PCIe x16 device, the Z270 chipset adds the option to use two devices at x16 Is this true? I thought PCIE 3.0 @ x8 x8 was max? Thanks for the review. Debating on upgrading my 4770k setup to 7700k. I want to run two M.2 drives w/ SLI and this seems like it can do it. Also my 4770k is stuck at 4.2 on water, so getting a 7700k to 5.0(potentially) seems alluring. That and DDR4.

I`ll say this here aswell. I don´t like the idea, that M.2 is covered with extra cover... What´s the point of having fast M.2 when it starts to slowdown cause of heat? :/ And this Asus desing, and the TUF one, i don´t like it. ><
