Skeptical about that cooling solution, this seems too pricey considering how late to the market it is.

Global Warming ?
What does Global Warming concerns have to do with the liquid cooler on a power-sucking graphics card?
Perhaps you mean "local warming" as in the heat buildup inside the case?
Crossfire:
- Crossfire is inferior to SLI
- 2xSLI/Crossfire is very prone to micro-stutter
- 3xSLI/Crossfire has MINIMAL micro-stutter
Therefore, the ideal high-end gaming rig is a 3x (GTX680 4GB) setup.
Wouldn't it be AWESOME then, to see a solution like this Asus graphics card with THREE GPU's! Use a lower-end GPU solution due to the heat so you'll get the benefit of a high-end card without micro-stutter.
Let's give it a name:
"ARES3-12G3X670"
(basically similar to a GTX690 with THREE GPU's instead of two, and 4GB per GPU instead of 2GB to game on a triple-monitor solution or just play FC3 on the highest quality.)
