No one talks about these non-xt variants. Such a underrated card, it beats 2060 super and regular 2070, vega 64 in most benchmarks. If this was 300$ product it would be a killer.

Actually, when looking at the Guru3d reviewed games and resolutions it doesn't beat 2060 Super. The RX5700 has 11 wins vs 2060 Super 10 wins, but, the 2060 Super is the more consistent card. Out of the 4 cards, the 2060 Super is never 4th place, while RX5700 comes 4th place 4 times. Scoring each card 1 point for 1st and 4 points for last we see these results (lower is better); 42 - RTX 2060 Super 50 - RX 5700 69 - RTX 2070 79 - Vega 64 With these numbers, we see that it definitely beats RTX 2070 and Vega 64, but not RTX 2060 Super. There's 3 games that hinder the RX 5700, those are; F1 2018, Strange Brigade and The Witcher 3. The later 2 games are where the 4x 4th place comes from. While in F1 it's 3rd place across all resolutions. With very little overclocking headroom and basically the same performance as a standard RX 5700, then, the premium is only about the cooling. There's not much in terms of extra performance to justify it.

Looking at the game results at that resolution the 5700 seems to have slightly more wins than the 2060S ??

I really like the 5700 series, but this is way over priced.

rx 5700 is a better deal than the 5700xt. but then again, we're all nerds, and more than a few people will buy the xt just on the marginal spec differential. more than a few people will buy models to match their builds (cosmetically). more than a few fanboys will buy the ROG just because it's Asus. don't expect too much logic other than the fact that these cards (navi) are more than good enough at the price point. oh yeah i expect some quibbles, but this is the truth.
