I don't recommend X2 cards... a lot of heat.

I recommend X2 cards... they cook the competition.

wouldn't the first chip cook the second one if they're both in one loop? I don't have much experience with watercooling, so perhaps the temperature difference is just a few degrees. I dunno, someone enlighten me please ^^

NZXT G10 with a H50 can cool a 780ti better than a EVGA AXC Cooler so since it looks like a thicker and a better rad + the Card actually having a fan should do okay most likely 70c so not much overclocking room.

No not really, because you normally have a high enough waterflow in your loop where the heat gets transfered away way faster than its can saturate the coolant. My 6990 only shows a difference of 1-2 degress Celsius and taking into account that the sensors have tolerances as well there might be no difference in real life. Also the waterblock is a single piece of solid copper in my case which means it covers both GPUs so temperature spreads evenly. Everything i said of course when the GPUs are equally loaded. Cheers!

Gamers from northen regions will be so happy to have this one hot card. Gaming- generating heat,no more bills, just one card to rule them all!! Win-win. Joking aside, looks like a giant toaster with a AIO cooler strapped on.

I think we should start getting used to the fact that for the NV card users the most important parameter is the low power consumption and low temperatures.:eyes:

Not all nvidia users. I got mine for the performance. Lets not start an amd vs nvidia argument.

too bad the price on these things will be overinflated like the 290's because of miners

From a enthusiast perspective, you gotta love a gpu that comes with liquid cooling as standard. šŸ¤“

I think it needs a bigger radiator personally, though that might be easy to fix.

Obviously it could have a better cooling system, but then again I thinkmost cards can. From the looks of it, this card have around 2-2,5 the cooling area of a normal 290x. And since it also pushes most of the hot outside the case, this is actually way better than normal third party coolers (now watercooled). For best compatibility, a 2x120mm rad would be pricey AND create a lot more trouble installing it in "normal" cases.

Actually, my GTX 480 SLI (media-PC in the living room) is still the main heating apparatus for the appartment I live in. (at least 7 months of the year) The Tri-SLI 780 Classy rig needs to step inn when it gets real cold though. (usually I dump its heat outside when gaming)
