For that price I would go for "Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 3 10IGL5". (Stronger CPU/iGPU. Has 8GB ram and W10 Pro. Awesome build quality. LTE option.) Why would I buy chromebook when there is stronger option available at comparable price? And selling basically android tablets with chrome OS is weird at best because that market is dead. It is dead because of devices which are weaker than cellphones. (Or are overpriced.) So what's benefit of chrome OS? Expensive tablet which I can use as smart google device for video calls? Free version of YT music sponsored by adds which are available only on devices with display? And with 4GB RAM, one could only dream about running virtual linux environment. - - - - Chrome OS devices are in bad spot for long time. But half assed devices make it worse.

The Chrome OS is far from dead, it's market share is larger than apple. There are some really good priced models like the Lenovo - Chromebook Duet - 10.1 $250 128gb. It's prefect for someone looking for a device that runs all of their phone apps + works as a tablet and laptops. Chromebooks also get updates for 8 years, good luck finding an android tablet or phone that does that.

It only speaks about progression of given OS. Not that I agree with Samsung dropping support in 2 years even for top of the line phones. But android did become heavy of phones with 3GB of RAM. Would not advise anyone to get android phone with 4GB of RAM. Yet, chromebooks get exactly that most of the times. And lenovo itself lists higher price tag on version with 64GB eMMC. (Without stylus, and device does not even has charging dock for stylus.) Then there is little problem with CPU itself. Even lowly Pentium N5030 (4C/4T) is 50~100% faster than Helio P60T (8C/8T). In some cases Pentium is more than twice as fast. It does not really speak well for single threaded performance. Even within one brand (in this case lenovo), I would rather buy much superior device with Win 10 Pro license, than weak something that would be morally obsolete in a year. (Phones may not have android support, but device mentioned will run W10 for very long time.)
