8 megabits/Mb = 1 megabyte/MB 1800 Mb per second = 225 MB per second 225 megabytes per second is almost 2 gigabits per second. Bits are the standard unit for network bandwidth and bytes are for storage.

bits are also used for storage. In fact, bits were used for storage long before networking came about. For the record, there's 8 bits in a byte, whether you're referring to storage or network transfer.

Seems you don't know the difference LMAO A Megabyte is 1000 (actually 900) Megabits according to your calculations. A Megabyte is 8 Megabits. That 1800Mb/s is 225MB/s, not 2 MB/s... 2MB/s is 16Mb/s. We're surpassed that with 802.11g 14 years ago...
