I thought you needed to actually push 60+ FPS for the higher refresh rates to matter (with the exception of free/gsync).

You also need a connector that supports it, which no card has. You also need a monitor technology that can perform at 120hz, 4K reliably yet cost effectively, which also doesn't exist. But none of these things will stop people from making the same old "60 hz boring" "TN garbage" posts every time a new monitor comes out.

The connector tech is already available that supports it. Newer cards are just around the corner. Why would I buy a new 4K screen that (could be doing more than 60Hz) does not use it??? 😉 Not all of us want to live in the past and be rude to people that talk about progress -.-" I'm really looking forward to screens that will be coming out not Too long from now by the look of a few possible technologies. Though will very likely be buying a screen such as these soon to keep me going.
