Hmm no mention of a Hz rate there at all. Would be nice to know if this super expensive monitor can do 120 or even 240Hz via display port.

If it were 1.2k, it would force the price drop of the 27 and 30" monitors. Wich it's about time. I have a 30" monitor for almost 4 years and the price is still the same. The pc monitor technoligy didn't evolve much since full hd became mainstream.

31.5" is small for a monitor desktop ? ( its even higher of the 30" we are used.. first news, outside you are speaking about 3 screens . Dont compare with laptop or tablet, smartphone screens ... they dont fight in the same category.. ( refresh, color accuracy, quality, ( black ( outside superAmoled for the black led ) they can be small, but are not really good outside small screen ). In reality with thoses screens on a 30" you will cry how bad they are. for game or normal use, you will quickly go back to a standard monitor if they had port thoses screens.

that 31.5" is a pure small bad@$$ 4K monitor...super crisp images i expect:D can't wait for a price EDIT: now even titan quad sli will be weak for surrounding 3 of these... 😀 oh come on we need gtx8xx and hd9xxx as fast as possible... :banana: :wanker:

4k x 2k and it can only support up to 60hz with DP.... at whatever top of the line price tag they come up with I wouldn't put out the cash. 85hz minimum, I demand! I donno how they keep coming up with this 60hz max garbage. you can't game on it happily above 20". at 30" already looks weird on desktops on 1080p...

And the price of this is.....that's what I thought and the specs looks so first generation 4K display that I'll wait for improvement and lower prices. 1080p is sufficient at the moment.

Blame Display Port technology and its bandwidth, 60Hz is the max it can handle at 4K HD.:infinity:

4K and 10-bit color are excellents. 🙂 but too large screen - max 25"; still no LightBoost support = motion blur issue.
