How do these fare in comparison to let's say a raspberry pi?? Not sure if they're still even on the same playing field.

Last time Asus made an ARM-based SBC, it was laughably overpriced and offered nothing that the dozens of competing devices didn't also offer. This product seems no different, and the fact that it is equipped with a beefy heatsink and fan does not help its appeal. We might not yet know the price of this, but, the fact that Asus is trying to sell a new SBC with 1GB of RAM on a device that very clearly isn't intended to be headless shows they're already out of touch with their competition. This device fits a very narrow demographic, of people who want to develop on Linux, but primarily use Windows and know absolutely nothing about the ARM SBC market.
