Yea don't like monitors that have a separate power supply which commonly spells no vesa, silly really.

I would guess between $300-$400. Before I bought my Swift I had the MX279 which is basically the same thing as this, but was a 27" and 1080p. I think I paid $250 for that. It's a decent monitor

It's a sexy monitor if you ask me, especially if you have 3 of them together. Which would mean only a 0.2 gap between them.

So what's the difference between this and the PB258Q except the different frame design and the additional GamePlus modes? I reckon the panel itself is identical in terms of quality.

^^ And the speakers on it. They are advertised as awesome speakers but in reality they aren't awesome at all. You pay for the Bang & Olufsen name.

@nhlkoho the speakers are (almost 100%) asus, the B&O name is for the (ICE) amp... and the fact that almost every premium car maker uses ICE amps to fire multi/surround speaker systems.. alpine used the same design on their class D sub amps, making it one of the best digital amps (with good SQ) . no talking about the fact it might be a little overkill on a moni.

Bro, there's nothing wrong with a high end IPS panel. Most others would tend to agree with me. 🙂 After having used TN panels in the past, there's no way in hell I'd ever buy one again... IPS all the way until OLED at least. 😀

That is the thing I seen this IPS panels and I find the higher response time to be more annoying then on TN panels that 2ms and I find 2ms annoying. My HDTV use 5ms IPS panel and i can see the blurr and way more annoying them 2ms TN. If some people are not annoyed by this great, but to me this is MAJOR flaw in LCD/LED and MAIN reason I still dont like the tech. Better color dont mean anything it is ruined once it is in montion by the response time. As for OLED i been waiting 10+ years for it maybe by time I 50 it be ready. All that being said I looking at this monitor Mostly cause Very few IF any manufactures make 2560x1440 under 27inch let alone 24inch 25inch is doable for me ( dont want anything bigger that is what my HDTV is for) and almost none them are TN with 2ms response times. So me find a 4k 24inch monitor is probably gona be even harder to find
