You have to be the only one because I didn't had this problem (2 years without any problem on the fan)

on all that i have mounted none have fail, only some few that make noise due to age and dust... personaly i don't like the owl design.

I also had this problem

this mean you are the second lol ((joking)) no cooler are 100% reliable, you just have to get the wrong one on a million and it will sh*t you up and make you get a bad feeling about it ((a bit like me and EVGA and gigabyte mobo))

Quite a worthless cooler. Very noisy under load and don't dare to mess around with it, as the screws are flimsy at best and break very easely.
