Would like to see a decent mATX board from ASRock on the X470 chipset.

You are not only one. As of today, there are no X370 mATX boards. 1st one who brings decent X470 mATX gets all the sales.

On mATX there is not too much more over the B*50 ... they OC the same... and the lack of space make little extra of the X*70 quasi-useless. AND it cost a lot more than the B*50. But why not? They have already done a mATX for TR4...

BTW there is an ITX X470 if you really need small mobo. the biostar X470GTN http://www.biostar.com.tw/app/en/mb/introduction.php?S_ID=910
That's the thing. uITX board does not have those additional PCI/PCIe ports I need. And ATX is just tiny bit taller for current "smallest" ATX compatible case (raijintek thetis) to be fully relevant. You either have those USB/front panel/... ports at bottom of MB or you have installed 240mm radiator in case. mATX MB solves this dilemma and still provides enough ports on MB (SLi/CF, soundcard, raid, whatever needed).

Just got the ultimate on preorder. So far the memory support isnt 100% clear. All the board from MSI, Gigabyte, Asus and ASRock all say "DDR4-3466+ MHz " As if there is much higher support not yet announced. When you go to the ASRock main page the memory support some of the single vs dual rank support charts are still blank. The X370 version of this board already has 3400Mhz RAM on QVL so this should be much much higher. Really need to know what the max memory speed on this board is.

well... there is DDR4 4600Mhz in shop, on more than 3200Mhz the price is more or less the same, so get the best and OC on certified range, it's more easy 🙂

This Mother board is ITX size but, like more and more ITX board, with ATX norm of placement (CPU place more down, front panel and usb on right side etc etc...) about SLI or Xfire most mATX can't do it or can do it... in ATX case (2nd gpu on slot 4 and 5, well, in this case buy an ATX mobo seem to be the best choise...).

And you are not the only two. The support of mATX on Ryzen has been really bad. Mostly full ATX or mini-ITX which is way too limited. Sadly will probably have to upgrade my non-K Skylake mATX to Intel again if AMD and their partners keep doing that.
