These reviewers are taking off the thin film of plastic from the front of the screen, Samsung explicitly says to leave the film on.

According to one reviewer, Samsung did not explicitly say to leave the film on until AFTER they were notified of damage to the phones from a couple reviewers removing the film. There are also reports of units that failed with the film completely in tact.
