Couldn't see the price mentioned in the article so here goes: The AOC AG352UCG will launch in March for £799, or just under $1,000 :)

Great screen, however its VA. Still, im all for more Ultra Wides all over the market. The more common this amazing resolution will become, better for everyone!

Not so sure. I was all sold on ultra-wides until I saw a few in shops. The thing that rankles me is that even on 34" screens, objects are no bigger than on 27" due to same vertical height (1440p). For that reason I would prefer a 32" 16:9 unit over an UW. Was far more impressed with a 32" HP Omen I saw up close than the UWs.

Nice specs. This might be a very good alternative for SIM Racing.

They are not supposed the be, point of ultra wide is larger workspace / larger field of view. Also movies on them, damn, so amazing! If in future we will see 4k ultra wide with O-Led and HDR, damn.... :3

Still waiting for exactly this type of Gsync VA monitor with this resolution but in 24" and 27" sizes...also a 16x9 2560x1440 version of this in 27" and 24". Not everyone has room for a TV sized monitor on their office desks.

Another ugly screen ultra widescreens are terrible anyway for gaming.

Same here. Once we get single GPUs that can easily run 4K/60 at Ultra settings on AAA games, I'll bump up to a 32" 4K monitor. Until then, I'm still very happy sitting close to my 27" QHD.

LOL Yeah okay. Gsync, smooth as F .. play witcher 3 maxed out on the X34 then come talk to me.

Finally. This one ticks all the right boxes for me. Price is ok, 100Hz is ok, Gsync a must, and it will fit nicely on my Obutto cockpit.

Not only that, but even if vertical resolution is the same 1440p,*the physical height is less on*34" ultra wides than on 27". Until there is*ultra wide*closer to 40", I'm out.

Sorry to the best UWQHD has to be this.... Previously owned a Dell 29inch UWHD just 60hz and over 3 years old but still a good gaming monitor, but craved for 1440p in this aspect so early last year I bought the Asus PG348Q and after a week of horrible back light bleed it went back! Fast forward nearly a year and Samsung has made my dream of a perfect ultra wide 1440p come true with a 100hz (native no nasty overclocking here!) Enter the CF971 and the best thing ZERO backlight bleed 😉 using a 980ti so no access to the free sync (maybe Vega 😉) but it's silky smooth most of my games are around 70fps all maxed out and even with fast sync in the control panel no issues in any of my games so might not even bother with an AMD card. The guy that doesn't get ultra wides I feel for as I'd never go back to 16.9 apart from my tv ofc. Best monitor I've ever owned. Period.
