Is anyone else reluctant to buy a new monitor at the moment? Currently I have a 1920x1200 display. So 1080p is a loss of a little screen real-estate. And surely retina-density displays are close to hitting the market? Having used Windows 8 on a touch display I want that capability in a monitor. And then there's the 120Hz displays, I'd like the 3D option (or even just 120Hz non-3D as an option). I could live with 2 out of 3 of those addressed, but does anyone make a monitor with 3D and Touch? Or better than QHD and 3D? Or Touch and better than QHD? For a while now I've felt like we're very close to a major change in this space, and that makes me very hesitant to buy anything that's currently available.

Out of my whole system the monitor is the component i'm not too fussed about, i'm looking at a couple of coffee splashes on screen right now and i don't even care, nuh uh. 1080, 60hz, fast response time and i'll take it, cheap as chips nowadays too, though saying that i have an ok asus one but nothing too fancy cost £200 about one year ago. I'm 1080 60fps for life, along with my windows 7 they can bury me. 😀
