You will never get anything high HZ currently without VA. IPS sucks for gaming except image quality. And VA does well with superwides.

end up going blind using a 49 inch monitor, i already feel my 34 inch ultra is big enough. i game occasionally on my 4k tv but sit well away on sofa.

VAs seemed to get better around 2019-2020. They used to have really noticeable ghosting, but now I prefer them for the contrast ratio. Was really quite a change from years of IPS.

i use a samsung g7 240 hz 1440p and its va panel and its amazing, no ghosting basicly amazing black and contrast, best monitor ive had to be honest, excellent for gaming and watching movies to be honest
