The ‘QX’ model has a 30 – 144Hz variable refresh rate range with Adaptive-Sync (FreeSync). The ‘QG’ model has a wider 30 – 165Hz variable refresh rate range with G-SYNC support.
NOW these are real usable ranges! It could be a good solution for a not very expensive 3 monitors setup. As a single monitor is too small for my taste, i would like to see them selling a 21:9 34' monitor with 30-100 usable range.

There is only 1 34 inch with 100HZ Gysnc and its exspensive and Gsync. LG has a few 100hz freesync 21:9 coming out. One is 38 inch. My 29inch LG 21:9 at least does 80hz. It does 32-80hz freesync range. Under 32, and it artifacts and blacks out. I actually gave up my triple setup up for a single ultrawide.

Why, why does it not have an IPS panel like its bigger brother AG271QG?

It can have 1000Hz plus many other extra features. But I never buy TN pannel again 😀 If I like fast monitor for gamming I go for proffessional CRT's.

This, but with a VA Panel boasting > 3000:1 static contrast ratio and better color accuracy via Quantum Dot tech. Consider adding HDR to keep up with the image quality of new HDTVs and at least 2560x1440. Til then, this is boring re-tread garbage with bad colors, bad viewing angles, and horrid contrast.
