F%#*@g hell! I can't wait 'till April. Come on AMD !!! I'm dying over here!

All I care is that clock boost, I wonder by how much?
Hopefully at least 4.5-4.6GHz OC is now doable..

Would hope for 20% uplift in overclocks with new process. So 4.8GHz probably be the upper limit to expect, who knows they might hit that magical 5GHz barrier.

If they hit 5ghz with this baby I will be impressed big-time! Prices will remain the same I assume since they still need to fight Intel off.

Guys, let's not start the hipe train please. For as much I like AMD for what they've done with Ryzen, the performance uplift will not be far from 5/10%. So if the top processor does 4.4Ghz Boost, it will be great.
Now, let's stop speculating them hitting 5Ghz please.

@Silva why not?
As long as ppl know to differentiate between speculation and real world numbers, its fine.
And as long as there is no info stating the oposite, you could be wrong too (and it might clock higher).
Not talking about chances thats actually happening 😉
BLEH!

A 4.5 Ghz Ryzen would be plenty to compete.

Truth be told, I'm more interested in the APU's.

My guess would be just 4.3-4.4GHz max, reliably. It doesn't seem like AMD's (GF) processes are too good with clocks/voltage needed. But who knows.

current ryzen processors are great price/performance ratio...any bump in performance would just be icing on the cake.
OT: RAM prices suck!...16GB ddr4 cost as much as a ryzen 5 1600...and good Lawd if you need 32GB...

This is going to be a long wait for me... Waiting for Zen+, and i´ll upgrade isntantly from my intel...
