How about this "Freesync 2 HDR LFR"?
Also, does anyone know how the performance (input lag) of LFR differs from old-school V-sync? Seems like each one would result in the same lag whether the previous frame is duplicated or next frame is delayed?

Why not keep it simple and just make it "FreeSync HDR". Companies love there version numbers.

I guess they think version 2 isn't enough to call attention to it.
So now it requires 600, not 400? That will make the monitors really expensive 🙁

For Freesync, the low-end is higher than for G-sync (30fps is the standard G-sync minimum) usually in the 40s but on some monitors even higher.

All you need to know is here.

what they want to call it is down to their marketing team.
Fact is if you want freesync 2 it must have hdr or it cant have that label.
So whats wrong telling people that fact in the name.
