iCUE is still a problem unfortunately.

I just installed the previous version yesterday 😏I've selected Ryzen High performance plan . Is there a issue with that power plan ? Can I simply install this plan over the older version or will it cause more issues ?

With Ryzen you would want to avoid using high performance power plan and use balanced instead.

Been googling around in the last few min. and everyone seems to be complaining about the iCUE corsair software making the ryzen chip voltage idle higher then usual. I'll be uninstalling iCUE and changing the plan to balance when i get home. Thanks. This is my screenshots, installed an r5 3600+B450M Steel legend from asrock last night. These are my numbers: I still need to update the bios to latest version and still need to set the XMP Profile to 3200mhz on the ram but this is a quick benchmark i ran; https://hosting.photobucket.com/images/dd197/H1TMAN_photos/0/80f17d03-4f02-459d-8fa1-22d6f4d1286d-original.jpg?width=1920&height=1080&fit=bounds https://hosting.photobucket.com/images/dd197/H1TMAN_photos/0/b3f54067-3326-4cd3-984f-7e386e24fe76-original.jpg?width=1920&height=1080&fit=bounds https://hosting.photobucket.com/images/dd197/H1TMAN_photos/0/d1954653-c978-4f21-b130-a7a0864beb06-original.jpg?width=1920&height=1080&fit=bounds https://hosting.photobucket.com/images/dd197/H1TMAN_photos/0/b3f54067-3326-4cd3-984f-7e386e24fe76-original.jpg?width=1920&height=1080&fit=bounds https://hosting.photobucket.com/images/dd197/H1TMAN_photos/0/d1954653-c978-4f21-b130-a7a0864beb06-original.jpg?width=1920&height=1080&fit=bounds

you don't need to uninstall icue, just turn off sdk support.

Sorry, how is that done ?

Odd if that's the default but nice to see a workaround for it even without AMD having some specific workaround for icue.exe or similar to avoid this problem through the driver software. (At least I assume it enables development so having it on as the default seems weird.)

it enables interaction between rgb softwares and the cpu-id monitoring drivers.

Oh so it's not development related after all but part of the iCUE monitoring and it's features then I see, it's just named in a way that seems geared for it being part of a software development kit and making ones own little apps and software for use via iCUE then.

My brother just tried it out with his 3700x (before, he had the previous version), and his CPU didn't go under 50 degrees anymore, and had 300MHz less in 1/2 core turbo. He went back to the previous driver and everything is good again.

I would say to check the minimum processor state within the power options as usually this is set to 99 (which keeps the cpu running at a minimum of 99% of its base clock) this can obviously cause temperature issues. Not sure about the turbo issue though. Ill be testing this driver package when I get home.
