If those numbers end up being true, the miniPC arena is going to get even more interesting than it already is.

I don't know if I should be impressed by the iGPU or if this is just another nail in the horribly designed coffin of the RX 6400. Kinda makes me wonder if this APU performs better in VRAM-intensive applications, because if it can already compete against the 6400 with at best 1/8 the memory bandwidth (PCIe 4.0 @ x8 lanes which is 16GB/s vs the 128GB/s of VRAM in the 6400) then that may suggest it can scale up better, or at least more gracefully.

I want to see the performance of the APU with the theoretical 40 cu limit.

Undying:

Eventhough I just got my steamdeck for christmas 2023, I think I would totally get a steam deck 2 with an iGP close to this with 1200p 75hz+ screen.

At what price though their latest desktop apus make no sense since GPU+CPU combos cost the same and are cheaper ... Aside from extreme small factor pcs

The current hallo apu gets it's ass handed to it by a a lot by a slightly cheaper combo if a 12100 and rx 6500.... While it is loosing by a country mile to a slightly more expensive combo of 12100+ rx6600 So as far you are not gunning for an ultra compact 1lt PC the current apus make no sense Think about it if you get the hallo product means you want some gaming if you don't any Intel and En 5 CPU will do the trick graphics wise since you only care for a display output at that point. So for the hallo apu to make sense vs it's normal counterpart has to be cheaper else is dead on the water

I will just stick with my Rx 6400 and my 10 year old i7 core 4770 non k thank you very much, as these days i only play one game on the PC, Star Trek online, and everything else is on console.
