The single-threaded score in CPU-Z is still slightly lower than what I get from my i7-6800 at the same clocks.
Anyway, that particular benchmark doesn't use any advanced SIMD code, so not much relevant.

Singlethread cpuz score of 502 is very good. It beats the crap out of my overclocked 3930k.

I definitely think something isn't quite right here.

If we could stop with the going back and forth like 12 year olds, that'd be nice.

You know what I said was not a suggestion.
Stop.

The single core's result is about the same as my 6800K at 4GHz and the multi cores' result is slightly less than my 6800K at 4.3GHz

Those are very good scores considering. I'm excited for AMD's part in what they are delivering in the Ryzen 3000 series CPUs.
For reference, here are my scores, taken today, latest OS patches and micro-code (stock 9900K)
CPU-Z
Single : 560
Multi : 5369
CB15 : 2031
CB20 : 4901
Can't help but wonder what the 3800X will do, although I'm not gonna be stressed to upgrade for a couple of years 😉

Wow, for all the expectation and propaganda, that's impressively meh.
As meh as it can be.
But I will be very happy to have one if I can buy it as cheap as my even more meh R5 1600 (equiv to 90 us$).

Haven't tried CPU-Z benchmark in a while. This entry budget 6cores AMD CPU sound really promising to generalize 6cores+ among users.
6+cores are still below 20% of user base last time i checked?
Here's my good old 6 cores 5820K , still kicking since 2015:
Single thread: 488
Multi thread: 3709

Might be able to overclock a tiny bit more, but this baby is generating enough heat as it is, H100i is giving everything to keep it in check.
Edit: Oh damn, my results seems on par with retail i7-7820X . really got my money worth putting some extra dollars on CPU back then. *pet PC Case*

I've been looking at the 3600X for quite some time, but this looks promising. Looking forward to your full review.
