Not really sure the point of these SSD's if they're just an exact copy of somebody else's, just seems like a marketing exercise. I suppose if they're cheaper than the models they're based on then that would be something, if they're more expensive, then you may as well write R7 in biro on your SSD if you like the label that much!

Do we really need another to the SSD market?
Crucial/Samsung is all you need.

In addition, this let them certify the SSD, controllers to work on their chipsets.
Important for OEM, less for standard consumer, as i doubt you will find so much of them in the corner street shop's.
It is the same for DDR, allowing full combo for OEM vendors / builders ( i think specifically to little vendors of prebuild PC ( mostly only sold there ones on their country ) ..
Motherboard - CPU - DDR -SSD - PSU, ( along with GPU ).
I dont think they really want to "fight in the SSD market competition".

I don't see why people are complaining, almost everything you buy in the hardware world is essentially rebranded or using another companies basic design.
- Power Supplies
- Memory (RAM)
- Monitor screens
- GPU's
- Motherboards
- Optical Drives
The list goes on, it's nothing new.

Correct guys !! more SSD brands , cheaper they get in the long run.
Now we need ASUS to make SATA3 SSD'S !!

They should have called it R9 SSDs because some people don´t have much knowledge and take decisions based on nomenclatures. Yeah. :wanker:

What is a typical client workload?
