You can get a 6700xt 12gb instead for 350$. Not worth it imo it should be 250eur max.

Even cheaper in some part of the earth (Mexico) you can find atm at 300 USD and that includes already a 19% VAT from third party seller ( a reputable one btw) Or importation from amazon US for extra 50 bucks if you are willing to be 100% sure
https://i.imgur.com/E3ss8Sr.jpeg [SPOILER\]
It has a 12gb vram 🙂 We'll see how 7600 scales i dont think it will be faster than 6700xt at 1440p

We will have the same story of these entire new generation. Better performance at 1080p than the previous higher series model, but that lead will banish the higher the resolution and with less RAM it will keep getting worse and worse, although better efficiency. Basically paying for a more efficient card with same to slightly worse performance gen over gen.

350 is way to much for a 7600 8gb :/

They're mad if they think it will sell. RX6600 is less than 230€ right now and I'll pickup one if these are overpriced. Either that or wait a bit more cuz the RX6700 is almost coming to 300€ down from 400€. AMD is trying a Ngreedia move: keep pricing new stuff high in hopes people buy it, or run out the old stuff. I don't mind having the old stuff, I'll buy the best price/performance: always.

In a sane world it'd be $150, tops, for that level of performance so many years after it was originally reached.

Over $300 is silly for 8GB. That's maybe $200 territory for so little Vram. 8GB is a low-end 1080p card. This is the kind of thing I'd buy my kids to upgrade their PC, and $300 is too high for something like this.

Ouch. On the crippled PCIE especially for users like me still on 3.

This is why I am in a pickle with my B450ITX in my mini rig, its pcie3. I upgraded my main rig from x470 to x570 in 2021 to have 4.0 for future gpus. So any gpu that seems crippled or is, not worth it for my mini rig. Shame I cant find a 6700xt that would fit in the case.

4090 continues to be the only card that makes sense 😀:D:D:D:D

I thought the whole point of MCM was to make the GPUs more affordable. Seems like it hasn't done much at all. I could see a pre-overclocked 7600 XT 16GB selling for 300, but if this is for the base clock 8GB then that's definitely asking too much. Here's the thing though: If this is AMD's idea of being competitive, I figure the 4060s are going to be even more unpalatable.

I hear you! As a PC nobleman with a 4090 I can say to peasants that don't have a 4090 that I just can't believe the performance this card have and at 1500 euro that I payed after a big discount I dare say that even the price makes sense with the crazy GPU's prices these days.

This 8GB little card it is too expensive for what it is , sadly rtx 4060 8GB is no better. Me thinks the days of ~ $200-$250 Dollars gpus are over ...

Honestlyeveryone sayingthis is expensive is strange because even now the 6000 series is still selling for way more than what everyone is saying at least here in Canada if they actually launch at the suggested price they're a much better value sadly which is still expensive

The point of MCM really is to make GPUs cheaper but for AMD not for us! The chiplet design enables a GPU that is simpler to produce than a monolithic one, resulting in a cheaper GPU for AMD. But AMD never had the intention to pass those savings to us, consumer/gamers, their objective is to raise their margins and make more per unit. A textbook idea from a company called Apple, that likes to remove features from their products at the same time it keeps or even raises the prices. Car makers also like to do the same, cheaping out every possible while maintaining or even raising the prices of their products... Business as usual...

The 6650XT was tested on pci-e 3 and performance was pretty much the same as on pci-e 4 £300 is too much for this 7600, should be no more than £250 for the premium model (Nitro+/GamingX) As they have used the full navi 33 chip for this card, does this mean the 7600XT will be a higher clocked 7600 with more memory and bandwidth?

But it will be a big problem now with inflated vram usage in many games.
