The first time I read an article here on Guru3d about this product my first thought was that this product is flawed in as much that it's too late to market & also only about 25% faster than their previous dual GPU flagship (the 295x2) - so to me this product was already an anticlimax, but it does seem that AMD now also agree!

I'm not seeing any logic in the physical release of the product at all, given the gpu's used, and the literal release of new product/gpu in approximately 2 to 4 months.

This cards primary purpose is VR development. Sure one can game with it... but not the primary purpose.

I kind of wish that if they were going to ship cards with watercooling, that they'd use standardized connections, so you could just integrate it with existing loops.

4K for the most part is still unplayable except GTAV.
How did they get Crossfire working under Tombraider DX12 when the engine doesn't support Multi-GPU under DX12? Probably ran DX11 and called it DX12?

The most important feature of the Pro Duo is Affinity Multi-GPU. It enables support for each HMD screen by a separate GPU. The traditional SLI / CF is useless in VR. NV is trying to create VR-SLI, but there are still a long way ahead of them. (Current driver is working only in some demos.) For now, there is no better card for VR than Pro Duo and probably will not be before mid-2017.
*Affinity Multi-GPU Technology: Accelerate gaming and VR performance with dual Radeon™ Pro Duo GPUs enabling scalable rendering for more realistic VR experiences. Affinity Multi-GPU allows each eye in a VR headset to be rendered in parallel by the Radeon™ Pro Duo GPU – making each eye virtually identical improving performance, frame rates and reducing latency.
