Do remember the "up to 5%" in the text.
This could be 0-5 fps at 4k high settings.
Scaling that down to 5700xt or Vega 56 - 64 card speeds, that could be a 0-2 FPS increase, so not even worth mentioning in release notes.

Imagine a company improving their latest line of products for people who spent a lot of money on them?
Did AMD mess up the drivers for 5000 series cards, 100% yes but it was mainly down to a hardware issue. I am just glad to see they are improving their current lineup as much as they are. Seems like a change of pace from previous events.
Yes its at 4K and at lower resolutions (where AMD has the edge) that increase could be even higher.
