There has to be something more to the information on that laptop. You are only trashing the cpu. I can guarantee the cpu/apu in that laptop is better than the cpu in my sig. When you state that the cpu is pegged at approx. 100% when streaming anything over 720, what other programs are running in the background? Is hardware acceleration enabled? GPU drivers can be at fault as well. Is it an APU not actually a cpu? The APU could be throttling due to insufficient cooling. That would be the laptop's manufacturer's problem.
The only time I would have issues with playback was because of the gpu, never the cpu. Playback issues vanished when the gpu was upgraded to a 6950 from a 3870.

All I can say is that ZEN better be a win for AMD because if it isn't, I think this may be the end of them. They have been bleeding money for so long. Honestly, I don't think even if this is a hit, they can last another failure afterwards. They need to keep producing for the long haul. Hope they have a winner. For customers sake at least. Or we will be torn a new one from Intel/nV.

Some people have a lot of energy to waste their time trolling forums like deskstar over there. It's interesting how it is so effective at gathering attention that even onlookers like me end up commenting on it. lol He must get it directly out of trumps trolling handbook.

not that im a big amd fan but i dont think its the amd cpu in that laptop giving problems..perhaps it was just the network [card] giving issues,,,also should update drivers and get rid of maybe bloatware/spam /adware on the laptop
