I know they would perform badly but it would still be interesting to see the performance compared to current desktop APU's

it's just cpu+board, there is no igpu part

I meant if the gpu could still be used

Why should they perform badly? I do not see dimm slots, are those below the board or are we using the gddr6 as system memory? that would be FAST, woudn't it?

Would be interesting to see if you can hack a XBox serie X or a PS5 OS with a better GPU with this board... ((a little voice say "no no no, you already have too much things in your tech room"...))

Imagine if it had gpu enabled.

If the GPU worked as it works on xbox it would just trash every other APU out there. No matter the manufacturer.

this is a weird product... and the weirdest part is this.... Compatible Graphics Required List of Compatible Graphics Cards: AMD Radeon™ 550 Graphics AMD Radeon™ RX 550 Graphics AMD Radeon™ RX 560 Graphics AMD Radeon™ RX 570 Graphics AMD Radeon™ RX 580 Graphics AMD Radeon™ RX 590 Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GT 710 NVIDIA GeForce GT 730 NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 supposedly it only works with the following GPUs, anyone have any theory why that would be the case?

This is a desktop kit, not an individual CPU release.

So, some very important caveats about these: * There is only a single PCIe slot, and it's wired as an x4 * There's no way to mount an NVMe SSD * There are only 2 SATA ports

The PCIe slot is only an X4. So while you *could* put a faster card in the slot than the above, it would be severely bottlenecked by it. It's actually possible that you might be able to use an RTX 3xxx or Radeon 6xxx card in it, since they are PCIe 4.0 cards, but I am not sure if the PCIe slot is 4.0 or 3.0

Waiting for an AMD APU with more than 8 CUs (not the 24/3400G)...

Neither, it's PCIe 2.0, chances are it is a XBOX/PS5 CPU with the GPU disabled because of yields. It's a big die and the CU's take up most of the space. it'll be interesting to see how the cpu performs against desktop
