Finally! And excited, but surprised they didn't go with Starfield first

This will be very interesting. Hopefully it will work at least as well as DLSS3 does.

I hope it works on nvidia cards, having a 3080 and being locked out of frame gen sucks so looking forward to trying this if it works, but I agree moo it should have been starfield first

To make logins faster? The name of the game should be loginfield

Finally comparable benchmarks are possible, no? And cross checks of image quality etc. Also, I'm curious to see this working on Nvidia hardware that doesn't have DLSS FG because Nvidia doesn't want those cards to have it...

Kind of weird to launch it on a Friday, in two random games with no dlss comparisons, and not let media have it prior. We'll see I guess

I was keen on trying out FSR3, as this is a new feature. But these are two mediocre games. Immortals has a concurrent layer count of around 40 players per day. And Forspoken has around 70. I bet there will be more people running the game for benchmarks and tests of FSR3, than to actually play and enjoy these 2 games. EDIT: FSR3 will also be supported in the Forspoken Demo with patch 1.22 So everyone can try it out.
Graphic Updates: ・Updated the game to support AMD FidelityFX™ Super Resolution 3. *FidelityFX™ Super Resolution 3 combines temporal upscaling and frame generation to deliver significantly higher performance. *Frame generation is enabled separately from upscaling and is available when using AMD Radeon™ RX 5000 Series, NVIDIA GeForce RTX™ 20 Series, and Intel® Arc™ 7 Series or newer GPUs. (Upscaling is still available to use on GPUs older than the products mentioned.)

These 2 games ?? Why ?? Was this the last decision Scott Herkelman made before he left AMD ? I was curious to test FSR3 , but no way I am downloading either game or demo. LOL

Well I own these two games,it is not beneath me to try FSR3 on a RTX 4090 and see how it goes.

Here comes stupid frame generation tech. A Generation satisfied with perceived smoothness . Actuality and originality is getting less and less relevant nowadays

They got high hopes for it then lol

Hope you disable LODs in your games, playing at 5fps. Because LODs are cheating.

Who are they? We all can benefit from FSR3.

AMD coming to save my RTX 3080.... Those who think it will be "at least comparable to dlss 3.0" need to get a grip on how things go last few decades.

Just played Forspoken for a few minutes on RTX 4090 with FSR Framegeneration on and so far it works very good. Now to play Immortals of Aveum and do a comparison on Nvidia FG and AMD FSR FG

All marketing went into blocking DLSS and XeSS.

These types of comments are usually by people who have never used it. Makes a massive difference on a 4090 in cpu limited scenarios in cyberpunk. From what looks like microstutters to smoothed out gameplay.

The decision was probably made months ago and they probably expected the games to fare better. And don't be startled by all the fireworks, it's just Undying celebrating the occasion! 😀

Very strange game choices to showcase this. This morning (US time) there was barely 150 players on Steam combined for both games. https://steamdb.info/app/2009100/charts/ You would have thought AMD would have picked something a bit more exposed, to show some confidence in their product?

True. This launch would be a lot more interesting if they had chosen better games. For example, Jedi Survivor. A great game that would probably benefit a lot by this tech.
