wavetrex:

Just tried on my GTX 1080 with 3440x1440 display resolution (The monitor goes up to 100 fps): Benchmark results for presets (RT off, obviously): High: 41 fps (completely unplayable, no idea how console players can play stuff at 30 fps, that is just ridiculous!) Medium: ~52 fps (somewhat playable, but the frame dips and mouse lag are quite noticeable resulting in a poor experience) Low: ~65 fps (smooth enough, but looks like crap) (All these are with FSR 2.1 on, without it it's a complete stutterfest at anything higher than Low, which is in the 30's) Let's just say that I will wait a while longer before I play this game. No amount of software tricks will make this game be playable on my outdated GPU at native monitor resolution.
I've actually gone trough the ordeal of playing the entire game on a 1080Ti on launch at the same resolution (monitor AW3420DW was brand new). Can't remember the settings, but it was in the high-medium range and something like 30 FPS average... let's just say it was quite the "experience", lol. Night and day replaying it on a 3080Ti with DLSS and RT, can only imagine what it must be like on a 4090. 🙄

Pain. Not sure how you did it. And today... I just ordered an ASUS TUF RX 6800 XT, caught a good price at a local store (one single piece, in stock!) .... I'm already drooling just by looking at the online order page 😛 This last benchmark run (even with FSR 2.1) finally convinced me it's time to say goodbye to the good old Pascal card (which is not even the Ti, like yours)
Pryme:

You GTX 1080 is a good GPU my friend, the game not. A good optimized game is still completely playable with a GPU like yours.
It's not just this game... Pascal just doesn't cut it anymore in modern games, especially at a relatively large resolution of 3440x1440 (1440p ultrawide). Actually, that card was already insufficient for my current monitor the moment I bought the monitor, which was in late 2017 ! It has been outdated for a long, long time, and wanted to replace it when Turing launched, but then Turing was already overpriced... I simply refused to pay those ridiculous $1200 (+EU tax) for +60% performance. Then Ampere/RDNA2 came... which would have been awesome, if not for the crypto boom. Two more years have passed...

Many games do not like alt-f4. Don't alt-f4 World of Warcraft cause one day you'll have the magical surprise of losing all your settings.

bruh I never will get why not saving the settings on "save" or exiting from setting menu..

I have a 6700 xt @ 2615 / 2000 sam on and a 3600x, how the hell is possible you do that framerate just enabling fsr on ultra preset with raytracing? does CP likes so much high cpu frequencies? and yes, I already apply the hex edit to the executable since for CDPR is too hard to fix a damn integer value in the source code. edit: oh wait I remember, ultra and ultra ray-tracing are 2 different profiles
