Updating now !

I don't play the game, but I'm updating it now nonetheless.

Why not FSR 2.2 at this point?

Still no news on DLSS 3.0/Frame generation for CP2077 ? It' been shown at length but isn't available yet ?

Night City NPCs will now carry umbrellas in various colors and shapes.

It's pretty sad that the game is still nowhere near what was promised. I bet interacting with the world still feels dead and empty because of how bare-bones the NPC reactions are.
And now I hear CDPR are allowing the original Witcher game to be remade "for a modern audience" aka stripping it of all personality, giving it a lobotomy, and sterilizing it to be woke. I hope it's not true.

Still waiting for gold so I can enjoy the game, when it's ready! XD

Looks great, definitely on par with DLSS.
I play this game at 3440x1440 and it's unfortunately severely CPU bound 😏Not sure if DLSS 3.0 would help, although I hope it would.

Question for those with modern consoles
"Added support for AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.1 (PC and next-gen consoles only)."
this means is activated by default or optional on consoles?

So it has indeed been added. "To be added" points to it coming in the future.

Any picture analysis to see how much details were loss or regained?

Just tried on my GTX 1080 with 3440x1440 display resolution (The monitor goes up to 100 fps):
Benchmark results for presets (RT off, obviously):
High: 41 fps (completely unplayable, no idea how console players can play stuff at 30 fps, that is just ridiculous!)
Medium: ~52 fps (somewhat playable, but the frame dips and mouse lag are quite noticeable resulting in a poor experience)
Low: ~65 fps (smooth enough, but looks like crap)
(All these are with FSR 2.1 on, without it it's a complete stutterfest at anything higher than Low, which is in the 30's)
Let's just say that I will wait a while longer before I play this game.
No amount of software tricks will make this game be playable on my outdated GPU at native monitor resolution.

You GTX 1080 is a good GPU my friend, the game not. A good optimized game is still completely playable with a GPU like yours.
