375W is a bit eccentric...

Too bad that "But will it run Crysis?" phrase lost its value. It should be a great workstation/rendering card anyway.

For a second I thought it said $10000. So just to confirm, both nVidia and AMD still cripple wireframe performance intentionally in standard cards?

This is basically a 7990 isn't it?

It's out...K20 and K20X. Of course, a 235W TDP for K20X doesn't mean a thing for the eventual Geforce version because it's a 24-7 'Furmark' (well: nBody) rating.

1.31 DP TFLOPS on a single GPU is insane!

Quick question: Can these cards be used for gaming? If so, I would imagine how kick-ass these cards would be 😱

Think so. My mate used to use a Quadro which ran Crysis quite well. That was basically an 8800 GT under the hood IIRC.

Wow, but the Quadro and Tesla costs sooooo much

Depend what Quadro and what Firepro... thoses one are made for computing with a lot of verification of result and ECC memory. ( and you dont want get ECC who kick in when you play on a game ) Green500 have udpated their top charts. ( second is the S10000 based supercomputer King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology 3th is the Titan ) http://www.green500.org/lists/green201211

There's also the latest Top500 supercomputers list http://www.top500.org/list/2012/11/
I think it was allready posted lol or i will have add it.. Anyway Top500 and Green500 are different, one is only on pure performance, the green one is for Energy efficient HPC ( watts/power ( Ptflops )

I know 🙂 Just thought it might be relevant to add with your link.

They should just ditch the ECC RAM and release this as the 7990.

and you was completely right.

The S10000 run at low core speed, it is not a cfx cards, both core run like one or separetely ( its computing, in fact the work is distributed differently of "graphics" ) ... i like better to see 7970x2 by some AIB of an 7990, crippled ,AMD cant use PLX chips right now for cfx them ( indeed, the reason why 7970x2 use Lucid chips instead of PLX, and this cause an high latency and so reduce performance ).
