When Morpheus(Zen6) lands, will you choose the Blue pill or the Red pill? 😎

Got to love the fact that both zen5 and zen6 will fit into my b650 board.

I'm kind of curious to see how much they artificially limit the cheaper boards (in particular A620 boards) in terms of later BIOS updates to support CPUs down the road. I could very much imagine mainboard manufacturers not being very motivated for that with boards that are as cheap as those. Hence I agree, B650 is probably a good idea... although you could buy 2 A620 motherboards for the price of some B650 ones, possibly if those still exist next generation.

I wonder which Zen CPU will be needed to install OS1 on the computer...

I would invest into b650 instead of getting the cheapest a620. I also wanted the full ATX board. It depends on the quality and manufacturer for providing the bios updates i guess. I went with Asus this time as im sure they will have support for newer cpus. We know amd tried to limit the zen3 to only 400 and 500 series boards but at the end even 300 series ware supported. @OnnA for instance still use his x370 with 5950x no problem. 🙂
