Wonderful news, I say.
The only thing, why it wasn't presented at CES?

Yes please, I will not buy any high end card, but it will further reduce the price of the cards like 5700 xt hopefully, and thats the performance range Im looking at atm.
Im also VERY interrested in what kind of RayTracing will AMD present.

The thing is, that amd has driver problems. For example my monitor enables freesync only with hdmi and no with displayport since radeon 2020 suite. Bug list is huge. New tech with problems, it will be a disastrous launch. Not mentioning amd is not willing to support VRR before hdmi 2.1. At least Nvidia has everything, gsync, freesync and vrr. Amd only has fsync. Lol!
Big Navi also will not have new HDMI 2.1. No futureproofness at all whatsoever from AMD.

Meh, personally I have waited entirely too long for AMD to put out ANYTHING high end wise in the GPU dept. I have accepted the fact that if you want performance, you will have to pay what Nvidia is charging..

AMD follows nVidia down the Ray Tracing road, and that's fine, but I'm not willing to pay a ton of money for a -great- feature on such an early stage, and with so limited support.
Maybe if one day Ray Tracing is supported by the majority of games, and you get really good RT performance at 1080p with a sub 500€ GPU, I'll consider updating my new 5700 XT.
I do believe we need the competition though. We've already seen Intel slash their prices on the HEDT segment as a responce to Zen. I'd love to see the same thing happen to the GPU market.

AMD cards will have specific memory related "chip" to ray tracing.
