Hmm, are there any differences between the Desktop and Mobility driver? On my laptop with Dual Graphics (7660G + 7670M), I was able to install the Desktop driver without issue, and it even had more packages in-comparison to the Mobility one.

My laptop (Toshiba L750D-1CP) also has dual GFX. I normally installed the desktop drivers, but I found out that it only installed drivers for the APU, not the 2nd videocard. For the 2nd, Windows installed its own drivers, not the latest. Installing the mobility drivers resulted in installing for both gfx cards.

Question. Is it still necessary to use Atiman Uninstaller 7.0.2 to clean up previous drivers or generic windows uninstaller(control panel) would be enough before installing these new drivers? Thanks in advance! Windows 8 64

I'm on 8.1 atm, and have had no luck installing these. Catalyst as-is doesn't install the Display driver. Catalyst with Windows 8 compatibility just stops when installing CIM. Right-clicking the inf to install completes, but doesn't actually install any driver. Manually selecting the inf from Device Manager doesn't work (can't find any compatible driver files).

Exactly the same deal here. Win 8.1.

take the 4 folders including drivers and copy them to the extracted package to have windows 8.1 v2 driver with framepacing on from this, working w8.1 x64 🙂
