That's surprising cooperation, i wonder if it will have reflection in performance on amd's gpus. I know ubisoft was in partnership with amd with few other games but in case of far cry 5 i expected it to be nvidia. Now i'm curious of performance tests of this game.

Good luck getting these cards for normal price.

FC3 was in AMD/ATI co-op with HDAO premiere then not long after that nV make an HBAO & HBAO+ FC4 was with nvidia and now FC5 is again with Radeon....

"...pre-built systems featuring..." I think you should read at least 1st sentence before commenting 😀

It might be cheaper buying a pre-build system with these video cards and selling off the rest of the components than getting a single video card at this point (maybe keep the RAM, too). 😛

Ahh, that's something different 🙂 well i hope that price won't be too high for that rig.

Interesting - I know AMD and Nvidia offer free games all the time when you buy GPUs, but I don't recall there being a time where either AMD or Nvidia offered a free game when buying a pre-built system. I wonder if this is because of miners, who racked up dozens or maybe hundreds of these free license keys and re-selling them, which must hurt somebody's economy whether that be the GPU manufacturer, the game publisher, or game retailers (like Steam or Uplay).

Rapid Packed Math – Doubles the rate of compute to allow for faster physics and compute calculations on Vega GPUs Shader Intrinsics – Allows direct game to hardware access on Radeon RX cards to extract more performance from the GPU Looks like the Far Cry 5 will be a hit,as FC3,from graphic design perspective.Time will tell if its true.

This is very interesting to me, im really wanting to build a minit ITX build with a 1600 and RX580 but due to prices keeping me at bay for soo long i may as well wait for 20xx geforce series and an R5 2600..

Might be hard to sell the rest of the components considering what ram and graphics cards cost... Might be easier to re-purpose the remaining components as a media center.

So, We are gonna see a lot of cheap priced Far Cry 5 on G2A and other markets. Courtesy of miners

Miners don't need whole rig. They only want GPUs. This benefits gamers who don't own PC, or upgrading from old PC.

The pre-built systems are cheaper argument isn't true. All i see is crap, and the slightly less crappy ones but quite more expensive rigs (with gpu's that i would barelly consider classifying as a gamer PC with rx580 8GB and GTX1060's 6GB) with hideous cases "look at me i am a LED pimped 1337 gamerz0r". Components are all low quality, stock blower type fan on the graphics card, a lump of aluminum with the cheapest fan on the (obviously locked) CPU (for a bit more cash, maybe a crap 120mm AIO liquid cooler), 8GB (and even 16) of slow ram with even more craptastic motherboard and even shittier dumbed down and mostly locked bios/uefi. Splurge a little more and maybe an old 256GB ssd that can't fit more than a half a duzen current games at best, before crawling performance back to levels of whatever mechanical "green" hard drive was added in. No thanks, i rather build a PC with decent components myself for the same price or most likely a bit less.
