The bigger problem with Haswell is coming from the PSU. new C saving power are not compatible with all PSU it seems. ( At a point, Intel have release a PSU selector )

As bad was Fermi was running.. and if you play without v-sync. ..Nvidia have only introduce frame metering (Frame pacing ) on Kepler.

Enermax are also fully supported.
Actually the first one to announce that IIRC. I think Hilbert also posted about it. Didn't have their official statement URL on my browser's history, though; probably read it from my mobile.

Means against regular 1333 DDR3 but I don't know, marketing text. (And of course, as usual, "up to" is still considered valid even if the performance gain is only 1% or some such.)

Kinda reminds me of my first DDR3 purchase which was a OCZ 4GB kit at 1800 8-8-8-24, ran at 1.95 and it still works seven years later though I ran it at 1600 7-7-7-21. (My sister took over the previous computer, holds up pretty well for the work she does with it, x38 rampage or maximus extreme with a 1000w PSU and a QX6850, originally used a 4890 GPU but now it uses the same 7970 as I use but the earlier PCB revision, cosmos case but it's pretty scratched by now.) Those were the initial DDR3 memories though, nowadays 1.50 is standard and the speeds get higher and higher. (Unsure if one would really notice much of a difference other than in benchmark comparisons, faster is better though and RAM is normally really cheap now, ha ha.)

Exactly that what you've mantioned: marketing trick for uninformed customers. There is no chance that AMD memory can be any faster than other regular 2133 DDR3 RAM's, not with Cas Latency timings like 10-11-11-30.

I agree, no more 1.65V DDR3 RAM's for my rigs in past 2.5 years no matter how fast they are, thanks but no thanks...

Nothing. They seem to think it will burn cpu memory controller if its at 1.65v.

Internet is full of explanations for this, just google for something like: Intel CPU overclock DDR3 1.5V vs 1.65V ...or something simmilar. http://communities.intel.com/thread/30798 If you are using one of last 3 generations of Intel Core CPU's and you are expecting from your OC'ed Intel CPU to last longer then use 1.5V or less Voltage DDR3 RAM's. If you are using some AMD CPU than 1.65V DDR3 RAM's are not so big problem...

Using 1.65 Volt on my 950 since 2009 and it's still going strong. And why do they sell so many 1.65 Volt Memory? I can barely find a proper 1.5 Volt Kit of 2400 MHz that doesn't have insanly high profile heatsinks. All seem like a load of bull to me.

the intel rated max is 1.58v for 2nd and 3rd core i cpu`s. my rams are rated at 1.6v and I run them at 1.58v. there is absolutely no reason to buy 1.65 rated ram when you have plenty of choices at 1.6v and under. the 4 sticks in this set is a turn off ass well, you can get my ram at the same price with 2 8gb sticks and have less stress on the memory controller and the option of getting another 2x8gb set in the future

$154 for 16gigs of 2133 is a steal. Gonna need to see some reviews first.
