Am I reading it right or is it saying 208W power draw?
Can't be total right?

What did they increase the clocks a bit on the core and raised the vram speed of a 290x like nvidia did with the 680 rebrand ie gtx 770?

I did not mention the vram cus there are some 8gb 290x.

Undying
Only question is the pricing. Looking alright if its little more than 970.
For 350-400β¬ i will consider one myself.

That actually sounds like a pretty good card now.
With the dramatic (for AMD) drop in heat output despite a bump in clocks, it should be very interesting to see how this thing OCs ^_^
Edit : Really is quite a good drop in heat considering the doubling of hot GDDR5 onboard too.

"Hawaii is confirmed to be codenamed Grenada. Donβt be fooled by the power consumption mentioned in the slide, as MSI has the same consumption listed for 290X. MSI R9 390X GAMING 8GB has 8GB GDDR5 memory. Card is factory-overclocked to 1100 MHz / 6100 MHz. This is 50/100 MHz boost compared to reference model."

^ youre probably right but i hope for amd's sake that they manage these minor speed bumps while also reducing power they would be much more desirable.
