I had the Area 51 ALX model a few years ago. As nice as that model was,[motorized front panel,LED lighting etc. etc.] the big issue I had with it was cooling. That thing made so much noise when everything was revved up while gaming it drove me nuts. I couldn't get it to cool anything quietly no matter what I did with the fans and general configuration. This one however, looks very very interesting. Too bad Dell won't sell the case by itself.

Interesting Case design. At work I was helping out with getting our junked out parts for recycling and one of the guys who was doing the work said that he got a free Alienware desktop from a few years ago it had an i7 in it and he said that who ever owned that computer probably threw it away as a punishment for that their child did and it was from a recycling drive. I know that Alienware computers aren't that spectacular but if I got a free one I would most definitely take it.

Is anyone there that still trust Alienware? I have Alienware Aurora Alx rig and i love it, but i absolutely hate Dell/Alienware so called "customer support"...

While this case looks interesting, the question is - does it work well? Does it meet the expectations? Isn't the form over functionality? If you find some time, please take a look at workstation computers, eg descriptions, images, YouTube videos of Dell Precision 7810. These computers are designed to work reliably for a long time, and to be easy to maintain. Recently they also started to look kinda well, which is good, but it wasn't a primary factor. Too often the gaming gear is all about weird looks.

^I also like the looks but as you said, it might be a problem in practice

i am not sure if alienware same like dell xps series or not but i ever own dell xps730 ... the case is great&solid but other than that everything sucks... also dell use proprietary power supply plug to power small board for not only for case lighting but also power button iirc so after my xps psu failed... i no longer can use it with standard psu except i get another original xps psu or people know about electricity seems can mod standard psu to make it work (splice+soldering cables required) thats enough to not bought any dell products again including alienware, since they are dell subs (desktop only though, i am okay with their notebooks) except i know every parts on their product can be upgraded/replaced with standard pc parts
