Not many systems where this would fit without interfering with PCI-E cards. Maybe DerBauer can include it in his next review of SSD cooling products to see if it even makes sense to use it.

I will stick to the gen 3 and 4 designs that do not need extra cooling or they use a thin heat spreader thank you !

Same but as soon they figure it out and start using a better controller without the need for an active cooling im gonna upgrade to gen5.

Well yes obviously! But as things are you will be hard pressed to find any difference between most midrange and up drives from gen3 4 and 5 ... Huge difference on sequencials but 4k random and normal use ? Not really except if people can tell apart an 11.8 seconds time loading screen to 12 seconds .... Direct storage might change that but until it is actually here in more than one game I do not worry about it .
