the fast ips isn't bad but that's a tough price point with tons of competition. my last VA was an Agon (5 years ago) it was made well but the smearing put me off forever.

I had the same problem with a Samsung VA panel. It was a nice monitor in every other aspect but the smearing did it for me. I currently have an LG nano IPS and I haven't looked back since.

Yep smearing on any VA I ever saw making me prefer ips "gray" blacks over smearing all the time every time . I love the OLED progress and I hope it speeds up !
