Some of you people are a disgrace to the gaming comunity. You complain non-stop that the graphics are bad, not worthy of 2014 or have requirements that are "too high". How in gods name are the requirements too high ? That 8GB of RAM is nothing .. in my sh***y country where the VAT (tax) is 24%(for anything we buy - especially electronics) and prices are in euro's (100 dollars in america is 100 euro's here + 24% extra) you can buy 8GB DDR3 Kingston Fury 1600 CL9 for 110 dollars. As for 4GB of VRAM I bet that's probably with like x8 AA which you don't even need and 4GB VRAM cards have been around since the 670/680 days so stop crying. A cpu ? a quad core i5 2500k(or newer models) which is more than enough for games costs like 150-200 dollars. You can pretty much game quite confortably on a 1000-1250$ PC so stop crying. Its the fault of people like you complaing that a 2014 game doesen't play maxed out on a dual core CPU , 1-2GB VRAM GPU and 2-4GB RAM ... people like you are one of the main reasons why PC games are held back. Instead of expecting a 2014 game to need high end 2014 hardware to be maxed out you cry and demand lower requirements. A game for the PC should be made for high end hardware that came out in the same year it is released in and not lower the settings to cater to people that have lower configs. That's why they have low-mid-high-ultra settings on most games ffs. Nobody is forcing you to play it on ultra if you have a 10 year old PC. ANALOGY TIME: You want to ice skate like the pro's ? you need similar equipment which costs a lot more than the cheap equipment ... you don't start complaing that the best the field(sports, racing ... gaming) has to offer is too demanding on your wallet and try and get the organizers of ice skating to make the pro's use cheap equipment. Or maybe you do ... who knows. PS: from all the gameplay videos out there this new COD actually seems to have good graphics so i5 2500k 8GB RAM and 4GB VRAM are perfectly reasonable requirements for such a game. NOW, the 6GB VRAM Shadow of Mordor was oficially demanding , THAT WAS TOO HIGH REQUIREMENTS. The Evil Within as well high too high requirements for the graphics it had and that "movie experience" the black bars which should have meant less to process. Although, strangely on 2560x1440 with 95% set to max the game was only using 1.9GB VRAM out of my 3GB 780 ... Shadow of Mordor with all Max except ULTRA textures was using 2.8-2.9GB VRAM as well so nowhere near that 6GB Mark.

I know people buy and play these games for the multi-player, but will this one have more than a 6 hour single-player campaign for a change. 🙂

I'm tired of this endless support for the hardware that is owned my the "masses". It's about time games are designed around the available high end PC hardware. If these specs are real, they are heading in the right direction.

Nope the games are far from being designed around the available high end pc hardware. Since they are designed around the consoles it would be low to middle end pcs. Recommended specs tell you nothing about how it is designed it just tells a story how badly they make use of the high end hardware (well currently it seems like that).
