Very interesting product ! If you can disable the local dimming, then this might replace my xb321hk.

Looks great. One minor complaint though: all the details on versions (USB 3.0, hdmi 2.1) but not a single mention of Display Port version?

If it has hdmi 2.1, why would you want to use displayport? Hdmi 2.1 is surperior in every way.

why on earth would you want to? local dimming is the best (and only) way to true HDR at a lower cost than OLED. and OLEDs are spectacular, true, HDR. i've had succeeding generations of displays and a career at the manufacturer's level so i can be categorical about this. mini-leds are still far too expensive and at this time only white mini-leds are being used with a LCD screen. edge-lighting is extremely problematic when applied to HDR. firstly it isn't even possible to do a true HDR 400 with edge -lighting. which isn't to say many aren't claiming HDR compatibility. compatibility just means it plays, if not necessarily to standards. the simple fact is led/lcd monitors can do 4k (or more) with no problem. but the same is not true with HDR. it is literally like comparing cassette audio tape to a SACD

Because local dimming causes halos unless you get decent density, which this screen won't have. Honestly I saw the PG32UQX and even that has noticeable blooming. Rather just have a VA panel tbh but even Samsung is giving up on those, for whatever reason.

What @Denial said. I just want a 32" 4k 144 hz monitor with hdmi 2.1 - gonna run it in sdr, and i would prefer if it didnt have local dimming at all.

Local dimming is terrible on PC monitors.

Seems fairly decent. A lot of monitor manufacturers have been lazy and only spec their products out with HDR 400 - which is like almost no HDR at all. But HDR 600 is noticeable. I still wouldn't give up using my LG 48" C1 for this thing but for people who want something a bit smaller, this Acer monitor would be the answer

The article states 2xhdmi 2.1 and 2 display ports ....not mentioning the version on em but my bet is something that can drive 4ķ 144 at least.

There are already some 27" 4K 144Hz monitors to choose from, even from Acer. Although not with HDR 600 yet. 32" is the lost child in this subject.
