So close, but yet still so very far away. 1080p just looks TERRIBLE on such a large display (1080p @ 27" [which this is essentially 2x of] = *blech*. IMO, even a 23/24" class monitor looks pretty bad at 1080p. 1080p @ 21.5", 1440p @ 27", or 4K @ 32" is the "sweet spot" of price, size, & pixel density). Someone (likely Samsung or AUO Optronics) figure out how to make this in a QHD/1440p variant though, and you'll have my rapt attention + wallet open & ready, faster than you can say "I want your money".

I dare you too say my 29 inch 1080p looks blech. The vertical height isnt massive on this. But hey spew non sense here with using standard monitor sizes and crappy 16:9.

1080p at 27 doesnt look that bad. Coming from 1440p just takes a while to adjust. Even had a 4k monitor at 28. And its also about how far you sit from the screen.
