45" and not 4K? This is not the 2023 I wanted.

I love the curved aspect but, for $1600, I choose nope every time. I just picked up the LG C2 42 Inch OLED and am using on my PC and so far, I am pleased.

Only 150nits? Is this a typo?

I agree 1440p is too low res for a 45" 21.5:9 screen, but to be 4K density at that aspect ratio it'd have to be 5160x2160 res. Not exactly easy to power.

Maybe not, the typical brightness of an OLED is pretty low compared to any form of LCD.

I'm pretty sure this has to do with pixel density and being self illuminated pixels, probably why some prefer the newer mini-led panels, the high quality ones costing as much or more than OLED.

150 nits is the 100% white window brightness. All WRGB oleds are 150-170. Only QD-OLED can go up to 250 nits at 100% white window.

@damasta nits isnt that important, as almost no one sits with the sun shining straight at the screen, requiring high brightness. contrast is much more important.
