Again no 2k on 24'' displays. Funny that looking for V246HQL I find a 2013 model. No mention on refresh rate of bit depth, skip!

I had a TN monitor and although I believe they improved over the years, for me the sweet spot is IPS. I don't need it to be extra fast, my current 144Hz monitor is more than enough. What I look for is hard to come by unfortunately: True 8bit (no FRC), IPS, 144Hz (with corresponding pixel response time), 24'' and 2K. Unfortunately for 2K I need to look at 27''.

my xb241yu is 24 1440p,still tn but better than dell's tn,have s2716dg as secondary and it's pretty poor as far saturation and banding compared to acer.

eh nothing special, I also think all ips panels should be phased our for r-ips. 4ms to to fracking slow not that that 4ms they adverstise is true, or those 1ms panels for that matter

Mediocrity strikes again. CES will showcase the long overdue and highly anticipated 42" OLED, which will rattle the entire monitor market. It's pretty safe to assume if somebody isn't crazy about twitch shooters like cs:go/overwatch, it will be the hottest ticket item for 2022.
Maybe - I think 42" still too big for most people. I'll probably buy it. Plus Linus's recent burn in video was a turn off for many - I personally don't mind buying a new OLED every year so I don't care.
