This would have been nice a year ago. Already got a U2713H... after much hassle and 9007 exchanges I got a satisfactory one that didn't have any bad surprises. The colours are not uniform as I would like but they never on this type, some U2713Hs are off by wild amounts. But it does have a uniformity compensation option that helps. I'm guessing it has to do with it it using GB-LED backlighting that passes through a yellow phosphor, they don't get the uniformity right on the phosphor I guess. I got a "10-bit" panel I can't make use of because artificial driver limitations OP, yay.

A word of caution: ultra high resolution is NOT ultra high definition (uhr is 720p x 4 and uhd is 1080p x 4 ..ya the sub par love to play with word

as it stands I agree but if benq released an ips 27inch i'd def consider it..(that does 100hz etc). p.s that's why I said "getting there". it seems odd that you can only get Koreans in the style we want/like and the big brands arent doing it yet.
