4 stereo speakers? Wouldn't that mean its not technically stereo?

Yeah this is the updated/new V17 model with Thunderbolt 3. The series overall has been around for ages. I'll update the news item to make that a little more clear.

Specs are nice for something that costs a bit more than $1000, but why it's just with 1TB 5400rpm drive?! Bet they would sell holy bunch of these if they throw in 120GB SSD for OS and keep that 1TB HDD for other junk then put a price tag around $1099. With SSD for OS (together with 1TB HDD) battery would even last longer, no doubt about that, it would be less job for "power hungry" HDD. edit Wait, just saw that mikeysg's lappy has an 128GB SSD! Nice... 🙂
