So they call it a gaming screen...then give it a price tag out of reach of probably most gamers.

ROFL. I cant help but laugh at this. Even if things were completely normal like in 2019, this is insanely stupid, now.

So how is this 2x better than an LG CX? Because it can do 18Hz more (that no one will use or notice anyway)? Who the hell comes up with this crap...

Not sure why anyone would pick this over the $1000 less LG C1.

Depends on panel. Is it an LG Panel or Samsung's new QD-OLED? I can't really find any info - but Dell is offering a QD-OLED monitor now that has a year burn-in warranty + decent brightness specs for what it is. If this also ships with some kind of Burn-In warranty it might be worth the higher pricetag, especially in wake of Linus and other's burn-in woes.

Standard LG warranty in EU should cover burn-in. I've got my CX with warranty extended by 3rd party insurer for total of 5 years, including burn-in.

Someone should tell Acer that monitors aren't being scalped like GPUs, they can't just shit out a meh product and demand whatever price they like. Those are thoroughly unimpressive products for 2022 at thoroughly clown world prices. I swear every electronics company sees the GPU/console scalping and they start salivating thinking they can just jack up prices on everything. I hope their sales crash into oblivion and take them to hell.

And LG has 43" OLEDs coming this year, for me a usable desk monitor, 48" is to big, kind of wish they had like a 37" to 38".
